Batista told people backstage at Raw this week that his recovery from surgery on his torn tendon was on schedule.

I constantly hear about how great MVP is from various columnists and message board posters around the internet. Apparently, he’s the next big thing and should be pushed to face Randy Orton pretty much immediately. Trained in front of all of us by Chris Benoit, he’s among the more differently styled workers in the WWE, cuts a great promo, and even has the crowd interaction portion of his moveset down cold. He’s basically got it all… so why doesn’t the crowd react more to him?

Netflix has posted the following information and match listing for the upcoming Rise and Fall of WCW DVD to be released by WWE…

The Raw main event was an abortion of booking. It is the most stunted and short sighted option possible for the three men who came to Raw from ECW. What occurred, for those of you who missed it, is that Randy Orton faced Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry in a guantlet, in that order. He beat Bourne, Swagger walked out, then lost to a Mark Henry in what constituted a face-turn for Henry. What a waste.

This week we see the in-studio debut of International Tag Team champions Tarzan Goto and Akio Sato, Bam Bam Bigelow shows up, Jos LeDuc has a new plan to get the better of Paul Diamond, and we have new Southern Tag Team champions!

Charlie Reneke pours over the twenty-three matches included in the latest WWE DVD set and rants about Savage’s place in WWE History.

There was a big “trade” between the brands and ECW has been completely gutted. Hopefully we’ll get some great new feuds to go with the new faces. Plus, a New Superstars Initiative from GM Tiffany will bring even more new faces.

F4Wonline.com today noted that WWE.com traffic is down since last year, which may explain why details of the big trade were posted on the company’s Web site prior to announcing them on TV. We decided to do a bit of investigating…
