Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show, and hype MVP’s VIP Lounge, where he will host the other seven participants in the upcoming Money in the Bank match as his guests.

MATCH #1: John Morrison vs. Carlito

The Miz and Nikki Bella accompany Morrison to the ring, while Primo and Brie Bella are with Carlito. They recap the events of last week, which led to the announcement of the Tag Title unification match coming up at WrestleMania 25. It’s really annoying how they insist on calling it “the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania.” Striker makes a gaffe for once, saying that Morrison is one of three guys to hold the Intercontinental Title as well as the World and WWE Tag Team Titles, and he names Jeff Hardy as one of the others. Sadly, Jeff never held the version of the tag titles that Carlito & Primo currently hold. Small mistake, but that’s more of a JR thing to do than a Striker.

Commercial

We come back from the break and Carlito is in control, so Morrison tries to retreat. Teddy Long doesn’t like that so he comes out and makes it a lumberjack match, which he also does for the upcoming WrestleMania match. Moments later Carlito hits the Back Stabber for the pin.

The latest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame is ring announcer Howard Finkel. I wonder if Lance Storm will dump all over this one like he did Koko B. Ware. You know what Lance Storm? I hate you.

Commercial

Back from the break just in time to see a recap of this past Monday on Raw, when Randy Orton viciously attacked Stephanie McMahon. I don’t care what anyone says, Orton rules. Then they hype the card for WrestleMania. That segues to a recap of John Cena on Jay Leno last night, and hype for 12 Rounds.

MATCH #2: Jack Swagger & Tyson Kidd vs. Tommy Dreamer & Evan Bourne

Kidd is accompanied by Natalya. Bourne and Kidd start it off, and I don’t think I’m alone in thinking these two will be major players in the not-too-distant future. The bad guys cheat to gain an advantage, but Bourne recovers and tags in Dreamer. Swagger tries to get involved but Dreamer thwarts him and the good guys are in control.

Commercial

We’re back and Dreamer is in control of Swagger. Kidd grabs Dreamer from the apron, allowing Swagger to hit a boot to the face. He hits an elbow drop and a leg drop for two. Kidd tags back in and puts on a chin lock. Swagger tags back in and they’re taking turns abusing the ECW Original. Dreamer avoids a charge in the corner and hits a neckbreaker, and both men are down. He makes the hot tag to Bourne, who is on fire. I’m so happy he got the chance to get over. He hits the Shooting Star Press on Kidd to get the win, handing Kidd his first loss.

Coming up next is the VIP Lounge!

Commercial

Kid Rock will perform at WrestleMania. Um, cool, I guess? Wait, no it’s not.

We’re in the VIP Lounge, with all eight Money in the Bank competitors and a ladder in the ring. Actually Tony Atlas and Hornswoggle are there too, so there are 10 men in the ring. Man, MVP can really talk. He gets chummy with Punk and Christian, while making fun of Shelton Benjamin. Everybody claims they’re going to win the match. Well, except Kane, who lights the ring posts on fire instead. I think he said it without saying it though. Everyone then leaves the ring, and amazingly no brawl breaks outs.
