1. I apologize for last week. Truthfully my DVR straight up didn’t record the show for some reason (and I was at the movie theater watching Anvil! The Story of Anvil), so I didn’t feel right commenting on a show I hadn’t seen. This week everything is back to normal, and my first thought about the show is that I think overall they did a solid job building up to the pay-per-view tonight.
2. I really like the way Kurt Angle is now. The yelling, screaming Kurt Angle was wearing on me. He’s a great talker and this is giving him the chance to really prove it, and it’s a nice change of pace. Making Sting the head of the Main Event Mafia was a great idea.
3. I also really like that Joe is talking again, it feels more natural for him. But I have to wonder: in his quest to destroy the Mafia, he only targeted Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Booker T, and Kurt Angle. Why not Sting? If I missed the explanation feel free to fill me in.
4. I like Billy Gunn. Sure, he’s way past his prime and was never amazing in the first place, but he takes everything that they give him and tries to make the most of it. Having him as Foley’s maintenance guy probably won’t last long, but props to the guy for giving it a go.
5. On the other hand, you have Shane Douglas. His “second chance” storyline rings so false because this guy got numerous chances in a lot of places over the years. He’s a guy who took an admittedly bad character (Dean Douglas) and instead of doing his best, just half-assed it and wondered why he couldn’t get a push. The fact that he works at Wal-Mart now is Shawn Michaels’s fault. Or Triple H’s fault. Or Vince McMahon’s fault. Or Ric Flair’s fault. Or anyone else’s fault but his own.
6. I don’t get why they brought Raven or Stevie Richards in either.
7. Tara versus Awesome Kong would probably be the biggest match in the history of the TNA Women’s Division. Does anyone else find Taylor Wilde to be uncontrollably irritating?
8. Why is Eric Young teaming with Rhino on the preshow?
9. Beer Money, Inc. going back to heel is a smart move. They’re way too good at being heels to be sucking up to Team 3D.
10. My official picks for Slammiversary: Kurt Angle, Alex Shelley, Sting, Beer Money, Angelina Love, Raven & Daffney, Daniels, and the British Invasion.

I seem to remember reading this (edited) : “At this point, Raven is only in for last week’s set of Impact tapings and the Slammiversary pay-per-view. Hw wasn’t given a long-term deal, but may be used going forward. He was brought back due to the theme of Slammiversary as company officials wanted to use some big stars from the early days of the company”
Good top 10 tho… I’m beginning to like TNA a little more then WWE, WWE are getting very stale
