It's like they have a specific formula designed for the cash-in now, because Punk's victory over Hardy was a near photo-copy of Edge's first win over Cena. Why not have Hardy struggle out of the first G2S attempt, only to defend himself for a bit and then ultimately succumb a couple of minutes later. It would make Punk and Hardy both look a little better and it would prove less formulaic (although that might be the exact reason they don't go that route: WWE <3 Formulas).
