SummerSlam 2009 Videos, Dark Match Results
By Matthew Michaels - August 23, 2009 | Email the author

SummerSlam 2009 is in the books, with a major title change, a surprise return and much more taking place earlier tonight in Los Angeles. In addition to the big event, three matches took place prior to the PPV…

According to WWE.com, Beth Phoenix won a 15-Diva battle royale, with Chavo Guerrero as special ref. ProWrestling.net is reporting that this match was taped as a bonus for the SummerSlam DVD. Other dark matches, reports F4Wonline.com, were Primo beating Chavo and The Hurricane beating Paul Burchill. Following the latter match, Helms celebrated in the ring with Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore, and when interviewed by Howard Finkel, referenced how special it was to be able to finally come back from major neck surgery and then celebrate mid-ring with his two best friends.

WWE.com has more post-SummerSlam coverage, including video interviews with Rey Mysterio and MVP.
