Despite Considerable Handicap Of Death, Bad News Brown Advertised For U.K. Show
By Brad Curran - September 22, 2009 | Email the author

I swear, that’s what Newbury Today says! Maybe it’s another guy, or the reporter got the wrong name or something? Still, it happened. He’s fighting a Jake Roberts trainee, whoever it is. James Mason, who pinned MVP during his burial/losing streak on Smackdown will also be on the card.

  1. I think it’s probably “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown wrestling, but this is pretty glaring.

  2. Finally, hours before it’s recording time, we have a Twatwaffle of the week winner.

  4. Okay, this is All Star Wrestling. The longest running UK promotion. They aim at families with wwe watching kids, which is why they have gimmicks such as “The Smackdown Warrior” and Bad News Brown (who is actually a UK based guy, only been wrestling 2-3 years). They also booked 2 guys from the latest series of Gladiators (TNA’s Brutus Magnus and the affore mentioned Smackdown Warrior).

They are a promotion with almost no continuity, since they do 1 show per year at most towns in the UK. The roster includes Robbie Brookside, who was mentioned in Jericho’s autobiography, and often had Chad Collyer as international talent. It was also the promotion where Bryan Danielson did most of his UK tours.
