Tag Champion Apologizes for Insensitive Remarks
By Mike Shannon - November 5, 2009 | Email the author

TMZ.com is reporting that their lead story on their show today will be Chris Jericho making an inappropriate comment at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival.  The reigning tag champion, who was obviously joking with the crowd, made an anti-Muslim remark before referring to the festival moderator as a “f*g”.

Jericho apologized afterwards saying:  “After seeing the video I realize some inappropriate comments were made and I apologize if I offended anybody. Just know that everyone on stage was having a blast and we all shared a drink and a laugh after! The good news is I got my wish of being posted on TMZ.”

Comments
  1. Maybe Jericho knew the moderator was an annoying Harley Davidson rider.

  2. Or maybe he didn’t have his glasses and thought he was a cigarette.

Or maybe I should think of something funnier to say.
