  1. So Taker and Kane are on friendly terms again now? I’m so confused…

  2. They need another tag team to feed to Jerishow so might as well.

  3. Taker and Kane’s relationship never has any coherence.

  4. Kane interferes presumably due to the fact that Jericho beat him to get into the Triple Threat at all… but I smell a Tag Team match for next week that will see the BoD vs. Jeri-Show. Or at least, I hope I do ;)

  5. Taker did basically say two of the things he likes best are fighting with, or against, his brother. The Taker/Kane thing (when they bother to bring it up) is a bit of the old sibling thing of “only I can rag on him”. Kane is “allowed” to beat up his brother, but no one else is. Or some twisted variation of that. I can see this leading to a temporary alliance that blows up when Kane turns on Taker (more likely than the other way around) once the conflict is resolved (i.e. JeriShow move on to fighting DX full time).

So Taker/Kane can waste some time until Batista/Rey resolves and they can have Bastista/Taker again, before the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out finally settles on who will be the champ going into Wrestlemania.

  6. I get the feeling that we are going to see the break up of DX at Survivor Series, which is why we have the triple threat match with Cena there. Then those two lead into a feud going into Royal Rumble and eventually Wrestlemania.

Incidentally, only yesterday morning on Sky Sports they were advertising the main event as a Casket Match for the title between Taker and Punk. Those who went must have been pissed off to find Punk had been demoted to fighting R-Truth and they had no title match!

  7. I was at the filming of this Smackdown too. Taker and Punk still had a casket match but as a dark match right at the end and it only lasted a few minuets…and as it was a dark match we already knew Taker had to win because the title couldn’t change hands.
