Has he ever really had fans? I don’t thing he’s ever been very popular in all truth. I’ve never liked anything he’s done in the ring, his promos just don’t do it for me. Even when he was “shootin” on Vince and then years later on Sting I found him to be unbelievable.
@incognito: I don’t think so. He had a one (guitar shot) gimmick, was told to give the rub off to Chyna for a mid-card belt, and only got his buzz because he shot like jonny wadd on vince. his true contributions are as a founder of TNA and giving fans a pepsi to vince’s coke.
Wow – a little respect. Sheesh. Without Jeff there would be no TNA and certainly wrestling in the southern territories would have been long dead before Vince showed up. Unlike Sting, Jeff can still work a mach and take a bump. Sting does what he has always done: stink.
Hopefully all those people in the gym aren’t crushed to death when they go to watch the falling star.

At one point he had millions of slapnuts hanging on his every word.

Yeah, so choke on that, slapnuts!
