According to F4WOnline.com , WWE brass is extremely disappointed in the current announcing situation on their shows. The rumor is that former announcer Sean Mooney could return to the promotion since he was recently seen at WWE headquarters in Stamford. Mooney was last seen in WWE in the early 1990s, although he did recently make an appearance on the Rise and Fall of WCW release.
In this writer’s humble opinion…anything that gets Michael Cole off my television is a good move.
Who?
What a random move. I’M a better play-by-play guy than Sean Mooney.
Is Todd Pettingill next?
Michael Cole is probably the only person the WWE office is happy with.
I was SO HOPING it was Pettingill. I don’t know why. I just was.
If they were going to bring back anyone, it should have been Kevin Kelly. Sean Mooney is worthless without Lord Alfred Hayes.
I would thoroughly enjoy it if WWE allowed Michael Cole to be MICHAEL COLE. The Mean, Shooting SOB that we first heard on that infamous episode of Byte This, and the even more awesome Satelite Radio Broadcast when he lost his shit on a caller. I want to hear THAT guy. He was more badass than 1996 Taz!
Will Ian Mooney be coming too?
Knowing WWE, this is probably to replace the huge problem that Josh Matthews or Todd Grisham are…
Want the announcers to come up with some dynamic stuff Vince? Then GET THE HELL OUT OF THEIR EAR PIECES AND LET THEM TRY SOME ORIGINAL THINGS!!
How are they supposed to settle when you interupt them every 30 seconds with “suggestions”.
“Say it! Say it! SAY IT DAMMIT!” doesn’t help anyone.
