DiBiase would have worked, but I would have preferred a slow turn face approach. Turn him too quick and the crowd won’t sell the change and he gets left in the dust. The best way to funnel the change is have DiBiase cost Orton his match against Kingston at the TLC PPV. That’s if they still intend on turning Ted face. We gotta remember that not all movie releases automatically mean face turns. Causal fans will check out The Marine 2 not because of Ted DiBiase being in the movie…but because of how awesome that trailer looked on RAW.

Miz doesn’t work here since he and Cena already did the mini-feud in the summer. Sure, he’s more over now, but he can be built even bigger and have a better program down the road (and possibly win the title, unlike Sheamus).

I thought it would be Dibiase myself so we’ll see how the crowd responds the next couple weeks to Sheamus. This looks like it could be very similar to the Umaga feud or just your old Hogan-esque match against the killer heel for a one and done.

I think all this is gonna show McMahon is that he knows best. So it vindicates his “they need to listen when I yell at them” point of view.

Despite some wrestling being rather dodgy (or downright crap… why are the females in WWE allowed into the ring?), not a bad episode of Raw. And surely this shows McMahon that having 2 commentators who know their stuff (as in he and Jesse tonight) and without him yelling at them can be damn entertaining.
