10 Thoughts on RAW 11.30.2009
By Kevin Innarelli - November 30, 2009 | Email the author

Welcome to “10 Thoughts”!  Post your thoughts as well!

  1. Once again, Chris Jericho is absolute gold on the mic.  He even made the Big Show look good.  DX was rude to interrupt him.
  2. Based on crowd response, the DX Army is not as big as Triple H and HBK think it is.  It’s no KISS Army.  (Wait, maybe it is.)
  3. Maryse is terrible on the mic.  Somebody make sure she only looks pretty and never opens her mouth.
  4. Santina Marella makes me laugh every week.  He said that Sheamus is “jellyous” of him because he has skin pigmentation.  HA!
  5. That was an awesome spinebuster by Sheamus on Marella through the table.  It looked sick.
  6. The Miz really IS awesome.  His verbal takedown of Mark Henry was so spot on it was a thing of genius.
  7. Any feud involving Randy Orton just works.  I love his feud with Kofi Kingston.  The DDT from the top rope looked like it broke Kingston’s neck.  I can’t wait to see these two go at it at TLC.
  8. Mark Henry “killing” Jillian Hall was actually pretty funny.  (My wrestling sense of humor, once again)
  9. Man, Carlito just said what I’ve been thinking about John Cena for over a year.  Then he gets stomped.  That’s about right.
  10. Chris Jericho/Triple H really delivered.  Especially with HBK and Big Show announcing and getting us ready for TLC.  I’m really excited about the match between these four.  I just hope Big Show is healthy enough to pull it off.  I expect Jericho to carry them both though.

Well, that’s it for this week’s RAW.  Hope you enjoyed my thoughts.  And here’s one bonus though:  Verne Troyer was the absolute worst guest GM since this thing started.  And that’s saying a lot.

See you next week, kids.

  1. Has Jericho *ever* beaten HHH? (Or Cena?)

  2. The WWE says Jericho has never beaten Cena, but by now we should all know the WWE and its revisionist history cannot be trusted.

And indeed, Jericho did defeat Cena on July 4, 2002, not long after Cena’s WWE debut:

  3. I really thought that Jericho had never beaten Cena. Nice find.

  4. And the HHHs?

  5. He did beat HHH for the title, but it was reversed and “stricken from the record”. I’m not 100% sure if there is another 1-on-1 victory over the Hs. (Although he did slap the Walls on him while his quad was torn … that has to count as a moral victory).

  6. Were you at the event last night? I was and the two biggest pops from the crowd were (in this order) for a picture of the Undertaker prior to the dark match, for John Cena when he rolled in to the arena and for anything DX said or did. I don’t know if TV picked up on the “electric” atmosphere if I want to sound like Cole. Great RAW, horrible guest host and even when the bar was set so low…. pun intended!

  7. Thanks. I remembered Jericho and Cena having a mini-feud right when Cena made his debut, so I figured Jericho had to get one over on Cena at least once during that.

I didn’t read through the whole thing, but Jericho has defeated HHH at least once – in 2002, to earn a title shot against Hollywood Hulk Hogan:

  8. I wasn’t at the event. The pops for DX must have not gone through the TV well. Or I didn’t hear it because my hearing sucks.
