As was announced this morning, ROH’s Video On Demand service is now available at GoFightLive.tv. The service begins tonight (Tuesday night) with a special premiere. For $4.99, fans can watch the following ROH classic events leading up to this Saturday’s Final Battle 2009:
· Tuesday, 12/15/2009 7pm EST: “Glory By Honor IV”
· Wednesday, 12/16/2009 7pm EST: “Glory By Honor V Night 2″
· Thursday, 12/17/2009 7pm EST: “Glory By Honor VI Night 2″
· Friday, 12/18/2009 7pm EST: “Death Before Dishonor IV”
· Saturday, 12/19/2009 2pm EST: “Final Battle 2006″

Final Battle 2009 will also be available at GoFightLive.tv for the price of $14.99. Those who order prior to the day of the show will save $2 off the regular price. Those who purchase Final Battle 2009 on GoFightLive.tv will also receive CM Punk vs. Spanky (Brian Kendrick) from Third Anniversary Celebration Part I (Feb. 2005) as a “bonus” match to the broadcast.

As for those planning on being there live, ROH reports that the remaining tickers are now “in the double digits and falling fast”, and that ROH expects to turn people away at the Manhattan Center due to capacity issues. Check ROH’s website for more ticket information.

One final match has been signed for Final Battle 2009. In Four Corner Survival action, it will be Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rhett Titus vs. Colt Cabana vs. Kenny Omega. With Castagnoli currently ranked #1 and Omega at #6, this match has potential Pick 6 standings implications.

ROH will also be getting some mainstream attention at Final Battle 2009, as NBC will have cameras on hand to film segments for an upcoming Sunday Night national show. Also, Peter Rosenberg from the Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Morning Show on Hot97 in New York will be at the show.

ROH will be going with a three-man broadcast booth for Final Battle 2009. The team will consist of Dave Prazak, “Wrestling Roundtable” host Eric Santamaria, and a special third member that will be announced on Saturday night.

Speaking of “Wrestling Roundtable”, Shane Hagadorn, manager of the ROH World Tag Team Champion American Wolves, recently appeared on the show to discuss wrestling history.
