TNA is gearing up for surprises on the January 4th Impact going head to head with Monday Night Raw.
The latest news is that Scott Hall has agreed to return to TNA, to appear on TV on January 4th. Hall had troubles in his last TNA appearance, no-showing his scheduled appearance and not brought back. Additionally Hall has heat with Hogan stemming from their 2002 WWE appearance as the NWO where Hall was eventually let go by WWE.
While nothing is confirmed, it is presumed he would appear on-screen with Kevin Nash to reunite their famous tag team. Of course WWE owns the trademark to “NWO” and “Outsiders”, but they can still reunite with Jeff Jarrett to reprise their roles as the Kings of Wrestling.
Sean Waltman is also rumored to be appearing on Impact, although reports say he has not yet agreed to terms. He is one of many candidates from the Monday Night Wars that TNA is looking to bring into the promotion for maximum Impact on January 4th.

I’d make a joke about how TNA is trying to topple WWE with a 13 year old faction, but then again, DX is 12 years old too, so…
So, let me get this straight–Hall has heat with TNA, he has heat with Hulk Hogan…yet they’re bringing him in anyway?
Nash has that tag title shot….
Of course, this all assumes Hall will actually show up . . .
I’m fine with Hall being his partner for the tag title shot, provided they lose and its an RVD-approved one shot deal.
Who should they lose to, though? I’d prefer Hall and Nash lose to Beer Money, who at least have a rightful claim to being a great tag team. British Invasion? Not so much.
nWo reunion, Mike Tyson hosting Raw, the return of Bret Hart, all puts me in the mood for a song: It’s beginning to look a lot like 1997…
I don’t care what TNA does, or who they bring in, they will never be the dominant force in wrestling. TNA, you’re gonna find yourself in the same boat as WCW….OUT OF BUSINESS.
