The biggest news coming out of TNA Monday Night Impact was the jump of former WWE champion Jeff Hardy to TNA.
The latest on his TNA status is that Jeff has signed a deal with TNA to work a regular TNA schedule, which includes a monthly Sunday PPV and 2-3 TV tapings, almost entirely in Orlando. Hardy is not a fan of the grueling WWE full time schedule and feels the TNA schedule is more agreeable to his lifestyle.
Based on his attack on Homicide on Monday Night Impact, a match against Homicide could be Hardy’s return match.
Homicide was quoted after the show on Sirius radio saying “Anything could change and I could do something else or Jeff could do something else at the TV tapings on Tuesday, and I think it would be a great match-up of Jeff Hardy vs. Homicide. I’m really hoping it will happen,” [ PWTorch.com]
Jeff Hardy had a verbal agreement to return to WWE in 2010, so it came as a surprise to some that he appeared on TNA. Vince McMahon is said to have “no sold” Hardy jumping to TNA, not reacting at all and pretending like it never happened. [Wrestling Observer]
Why would he? He’ll get his head shaved for Trump but he’ll kick Bret Hart in the nuts. Vince doesn’t care for wrestlers the way he does celebs. Especially when he feels they won’t become bigger stars at TNA.
Jeff show mcmahon what he’s missing we love you no matter where you go!! Were behind you 100 percent!! Thank You Thank You Thank You for coming back. Judy!! Hardy! Hardy! Hardy!!!!
…Who the hell is this “we” of whom you speak? It ain’t me.
Show McMahon what he’s missing? Jeff wasn’t fired, he was given the wwe championship and then given the time off he’d requested. Vince has fucked over a lot of guys, but in this instance, I’d say Jeff screwed McMahon.
I am glad that the Monday Night wars are back.
It’s MY opinion that WWE storylines became stale after McMahon won out against WCW and ECW.
WWE’s recent storylines,in my opinion, can’t hold a candle to the ‘98 saga surrounding Stone Cold, McMahon and The Rock. During that time, WWE improved their storylines in order to out shine WCW.
After the Monday Night wars ended, Raw was not as good.
When Ventura and McMahon provided the play by play for the battle royal several weeks ago,it was the first time in many years that I actully enjoyed the show. They were a breath of fresh air.It was a relief not to listen to that dirty old man Jerry Lawler and his vapid side kick Michael Cole.
I hope that TNA forces WWE to take it up at notch, as the old adage goes.
Maybe if McMahon reduced the number of celebrities on his show and spent more time developing his wrestlers’ storylines, that might help spark some life back into his company.

Thank the lord!
TNA’s going to destroy WWE and I for one could’nt be happier. I as a wrestling fan am sick of the same old stale story lines WWE put out every show. Its getting to the point where I can guess what they will do next. TNA on the other hand is the best thing to happen to the business for years. Come on TNA! Kick WWE’s *SS!
you all complain but the Jericho/Shawn fue of just last year was incredible with numerous free tv segments. Jericho/Rey on Smackdown was also very good.
