ROH News: Time change for Saturday, Young Bucks vs. American Wolves, WrestleReunion, and more
By Ricardo Rochetti - January 6, 2010 | Email the author

The following news items were posted on the January 8th edition of the ROH Newswire:

Due to the 8 PM EST NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles this Saturday (January 9th), ROH has moved the start time for its Saturday show to 4 PM EST.

The fan votes to determine the soon-departing Young Bucks’ opponent for this Friday are in. By an overwhelming 86%-14% margin, The American Wolves prevailed over the Dark City Fight Club (thank the Lord!). So on January 8th, it will be The Young Bucks vs. the American Wolves. As a result, on Saturday, the American Wolves will take on the Dark City Fight Club.

ROH has signed another Pick 6 Contenders Series match to round out its lineup for WrestleReunion 4. On January 29th, in Los Angeles, Roderick Strong (#5) will take on Delirious. This match could actually be beneficial for Strong, as Delirious wrestles the current #2, Kevin Steen, this Friday night in South Philly. Should Delirious win and therefore take Steen’s spot, Strong would have a chance to climb 3 spots in the rankings.

ROH officials are said to “have been in contact with a couple of outstanding talents that haven’t been seen in some time.” More details on this as they become available.

Final Battle 2009 highlights are not up on YouTube. You can watch them here and here.

You can now save 25 percent off your next order placed at ROHWrestling.com until Friday morning. This sale includes all DVD’s, apparel, tickets, & more. For complete details on the sale, including the discount code, click here.
