Here is a selection of Royal Rumble statistics, as compiled by the WWE Watch website.
Most All-Time Rumble Eliminations:
#1 – Steve Austin (36)
#2 – The Undertaker (35)
#3 – Kane (33)
#4 – Shawn Michaels (31)
#5 – Hulk Hogan (24)
Of course, Kane and Michaels could both break Austin’s record and take the #1 spot this year.
Longest Total Rumble Time:
#1 – Triple H (213:21)
#2 – Shawn Michaels (192:49)
#3 – Kane (165:47)
#4 – Steve Austin (165:09)
#5 – Chris Benoit (157:19)
Most Royal Rumble Appearances:
#1 – Kane (13)
#2 – Shawn Michaels (11)
#3 – The Undertaker (10)
#4 – Rikishi (10)
#5 – Viscera (9)
I’m surprised they didn’t fudge the stats a little to keep Benoit off the list. Couldn’t have been that hard to do.
Looks like I’m going to have to bookmark that site. It’s an invaluable tool, just like:

How great of a subplot could it be if Michaels comes out early, eliminates four guys to tie Undertaker, then Undertaker comes out and they keep going back and forth, eliminating guys to go for the record. Have them tied with the two of them as the last two in the match, then let Michaels eliminate UT to A) Avenge 2007(?), and B) Show that Michaels can take a record from Undertaker. If they hype it right, it could be a great story.
The numbers for Most Royal Rumble Appearances are misleading here. The guys who wrestled as Rikishi and Viscera have been in the rumble 10 and 9 respectively. However, Solofa Fatu has only been in the rumble as Rikishi and Nelson Frazier has only been in the rumble as Big Vis 4 times. Also the numbers for HBK and Kane are dead wrong. They have both been in the rumble 12 times. Glen Jacobs (Kane) has been in 14 overall if you count his appearances as fake Diesel and Isaac Yankem.
I seemed to have left off the number of appearances for Solofa Fatu as Rikishi in my last post…that number is 5
