Scott Hall was reportedly having a hard time moving around backstage at TNA. Hall was said to be in good spirits and amicable backstgae, but there is concern over his long term viability.
Hall also has been pushing for TNA to bring in Sid Vicious, who he’s worked with on recent indie dates.
Kevin Nash is reportedly not happy with the name “the Band” for the nWo-like faction in TNA. It’s apparently based on the Blues Brothers, which Nash believes is painfully outdated.

They could call them “the Banned” since they are constantly getting thrown out of the arena. Or preferably they could call them “the Bad Idea” and just get rid of them.
very good idea, I don’t care much for thembut “the Banned” would be a pretty cool name for them
“which Nash believes is painfully outdated.”
Lo, irony, how cruel thee are.
Gee – I thought “The band” was in reference to the old saying: “the band is back together” since they haven’t been together on TV in another lame NWO storyline in years. And I worked with Hall on my indie show a couple months ago. He’s beat up from years in wrestling and booze.
He was supposedly clean but I know for a fact he isn’t unless stoli makes bottled water now. A lot of people don’t realize that Scott has been working in wrestling since the late 70s and longer than both Nash and Hogan as “Cowboy” Scott Hall with Verne Gagne. In ANY case he is a great guy, very nice and a great storyteller and presence in the back. He doesn’t have anymore good matches left in him though.
Hack Johnson, you just BS’d pretty much Scott Hall’s entire career! Hall debuted in 1984, nearly a full decade after Hulk Hogan! He wasn’t “Cowboy” Scott Hall in the AWA either, he was billed as “Big” Scott Hall, or for awhile “Magnum” Scott Hall, never was a gimmicked Cowboy, the closest to even that was when he was billed the “Starship Coyote” in the Mid-Atalntic and Florida terratories, that was even before the AWA and wasn’t even close to be a Cowboy gimmick!
Yeah, suuurrre you worked with him. In fact last night I tore the house down with Triple H!
“Hall was in good spirits” … would that be gin, vodka or whisky?
Poor Hall, I like watching him on tv as his gimmick never seems to get old for me but as everyone has already stated the guys just not in the greatest shape. I do hope that TNA keeps him around if even just for a backstage guy who will work with younger talent. The guy obviously has his demons but not having a day to day job isn’t going to help him.
Sorry to bust your chops Beboi but Hall has been billed as “The Cowboy” all be it shortly.
jack knows his stuff, and if the other guy really is in wrestling, learn your stuff dude. Hall debuted in 84, his first major opponet was col debeers…
