Booker T left TNA in 2009, and has been a free agent.
WWE has interest in bringing Booker back, but negotiations have stalled over the schedule. Booker wants a “Shawn Michaels” like schedule with mostly TV and PPV dates and limited house shows. However, Vince McMahon wants him to work a full schedule.
Backstage at TNA, many people felt Booker T wasn’t taking it seriously. However, he did take Consequences Creed and Jay Lethal under his wing and was often seen advising them.
