TNA Knockouts Battle Royal on Tap for Impact Wrestling, plus Earl Hebner’s Daughter Wants in the Ring

According to Diva Dirt, this week’s Impact will featue a 10-woman battle royal to determine the #1 Contender for Gail Kim’s TNA Knockouts Championship. Participants will include Tara, Brooke Tessmacher, Angelina Love, Winter, Velvet Sky, Mickie James, Madison Rayne, ODB, Sarita and Rosita.

In related news, TNA referee Earl Hebner’s daughter Katie Hebner wants to become a TNA Knockout and she has referred to herself as a Knockout-in-Training.

Diva Dirt reminds us that Katie actually used by TNA in 2008 as “Gail Kim‘s on-screen sister, Katie Kim, as Gail battled Awesome Kong (Kharma) in Gail’s final match of her first TNA run.”

@CB: The battle royal is a very interesting situation for Gail just because of the options she has for new opponents. Not a bad idea if they do the right thing and put Madison in line to face her which may cause major problems for the duo down the line. We’ll see what happens this week.

As for Katie, I think she can learn from Gail if she’s brought on as a heel and reprises her role as the little sister/apprentice. I think it could be very entertaining if nothing else because of Gail’s status as a top heel in the Knockout Division. Again, we’ll just have to wait and see but I’m interested.

I guess it’s time to start using a cane and forgetting where I left my pants. People I remember watching start in the business now have children I’ll soon see on my tv. Garrett Bischoff, Harry Smith, Natalya, and I went to an indy show awhile back and saw Eddie’s daughter is in the business. I’d name more but I need to go wander the streets talking to pidgeons.

Thanks for the first name. I recognized her face, but you know indy arenas and the first-rate acoustics for intros. I have a bet going with my brother when we’ll see Dominic Mysterio(yes, I know its not his real last name) become the next mask wearing lucha star.

The funny thing is I’m away in London for a Pro Wrestling EVE show this weekend but I saw the news and started thinking of theories on what else TNA can do to help the Knockouts Division.

Call me psychic, I guess.
