WWE Raw Rating Drops Even with Heavily Advertised Shawn Michaels – Triple H Confrontation over The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28
by CB on February 15, 2012

This week’s Raw rating dropped down to a 2.99 rating, which is way down from last week’s 3.25 rating. The show averaged 4.12 million viewers but the first hour averaged 3.92 million viewers, making it the least watched first hour since September 2011.

CB’s Slant: This is an ominous rating for WWE especially with HBK’s heavily advertised appearance to confront Triple H about backing down from The Undertaker by not fighting him at WrestleMania 28. It also didn’t help that Raw kicked off with one of its clumsiest segments in recent memory with the brutal-to-watch Elimination Chamber debate that came off as extremely awkward, embarrassing and anything but entertaining.
