Recap of WWE SmackDown Roster Changes, plus One Big Name Switches Brands
by CB on April 23, 2012

As the key move relating to last week’s roster changes to the SmackDown brand, WWE officially moved a returning Alberto Del Rio back to the blue show after previously being a Raw roster member before getting injured. One would assume Ricardo Rodriguez is also now officially back on SmackDown as well. Meanwhile:

–Antonio Cesaro debuted in a backstage segment on Friday’s episode, being introduced as a “good friend” of Aksana, playing up their European backgrounds.

–NXT Rookies Darren Young and Titus O’Neil were officially added to the Smackdown roster by John Laurinaitis, who hired the duo after saying Teddy Long missed the boat on grabbing them from NXT.

–Lastly, Ryback (Skip Sheffield) has now been on SmackDown for a few weeks, and he is currently continuing to be featured as a squash specialist to local jobbers.
