Lifetime Television has announced that it has picked-up the reality-competition series Supermarket Superstars. Former WWE Diva/model/actress/Dancing with the Stars contestant (also George Clooney’s girlfriend) Stacy Keibler will host the 10-episode series about aspiring food product inventors who compete for a chance to have their product launched in a national grocery chain.

Sounds like a supermarket version of Shark Tank, where the contestants pitch their products before a panel of three experts who critique the ideas and offer ways to tweak the product before the final concept is unveiled.

Apparently, the winner of each episode will receive an investment in their product and a chance to return in the season finale, where one contestant will win the top prize — a nationwide launch of their product in a major grocery chain’s stores.
