BREAKING: Big WWE Firing Before Raw

Word from backstage is that long time head writer of WWE Raw, Brian Gewirtz, has been removed. After more than a decade, Gewirtz will remain with the company as a creative consultant, but has been removed from the head writer position.

Apparently Vince McMahon was not in a good mood this afternoon and reportedly told producers “I want results, or I want resignations.”

Man, between this and the speculation as to what “changes” Vince will make because of an over-reaction to RAW’s low rating, that’s Interinactivity for this week written then.

If it’s simply for the low ratings, yes.

The problem is that I don’t think it is. Think of the state of the company the last two years and who’s been called upon to work well in Wrestlemania…

WWE is NOT doing well, especially once you get beyond about 4-5 guys: Cena, Punk, Sheamus (as HHH’s lifting buddy), Orton (if he’s in action), and … and …. does the company have enough faith in Daniel Bryan, or is he not one of their guys?
