This piece is about the problems TNA has had over the past three years that have put them into the position they are currently in. As for Hogan, you won’t read about him here because he is part of TNA’s future problems. And if people don’t understand that it isn’t 1985 or 1995 or 2002 and that Hogan is considered to be either a joke or a relic by the media at large, then it isn’t worth my time or effort to explain it.
Despite the numerous and rampant arguments amongst wrestling insiders, supposed insiders, and just people who watch wrestling, one thing we all could agree on through almost all of 2008 was that Jeff Hardy wasn’t ever going to win a world title.
August is usually an interesting time in Japan’s wrestling world, but this year’s eighth month is loaded with tournaments. And while most may not see why this is a big deal, the fact is that each of the major promotions—New Japan, All Japan, NOAH, and Zero-1—have a tournament that either stretched into August this past weekend or is going to take place in August.
This week I wanted to do something different, so I was able to get an old friend of the column, Kevin Wilson, to return and share his thoughts on some of the happenings in the world of wrestling. These topics range (in terms of promotion) from NOAH to The E to UFC and look at the good, bad, and potentially ugly having to do with the world of pro wrestling.

The Reality of Wrestling: RAW 15th Anniversary Show

Enough nostalgia for all
Monday night marked a momentous day in pro wrestling history. Monday was the 15th anniversary showing of Monday Night Raw for The E; the fact that the actual 15th anniversary isn’t until January 11 is irrelevant. What is relevant is that a regularly [...]
