We here at The Rabblecast at one point mentioned that we would no longer mention one, Matt Hardy. The reason behind this decision was because Matt Hardy never seemed to learn the consequences of his decisions after his release from WWE. Video blogs, »»

Where is the change we were promised? WWE had this great movement of "change" happening with the newly appointed COO, Triple H and the exit of Vince McMahon. CM Punk had us on the edge of our seats wondering if he would be able to pull out another vi »»

TNA's campaign of "Wrestling Matters" is their newest ploy to lure in wrestling fans that have become disenchanted by the WWE and the stern stance they've taken on becoming a variety show rather than a wrestling show. But will TNA actually make any c »»

Last week I started to discuss how storytelling works in general, and in professional wrestling in particular. Pro wrestling, I argued, utilises the basic components of the story in an intrinsically satisfying way that, and creates narrative arcs th »»

Being excited to see Sting back on iMPACT and to see him win the Heavyweight title would be hypocritical of me after preaching the need to build from within the company. That said, I’m not going to lie to you. I liked it. »»
TNA has another highly publicized show date coming up. This time it is March 3rd. The last time TNA publicized a date this much, Fourtune answered the question of: who are “they?â€. Going into that show there was understandably a lot of questions to be answered. After a few short weeks, with little over another week to go, there are some new questions to be answered. »»

As iMPACT was closing, it struck me that in the span of thirty seconds, TNA went from a company with a stacked heel faction running over most of the faces in the company, to a company with a ring full of notable faces versus basically the Hardy brothers and presumably Jeff Jarrett. Even if Abyss gets back, they need some help from some bigger name guys. Given that, I have decided to toss out a few names of guys I feel could be good for this role. »»

Even the haters have got to grant TNA that they are promoting this well. Following the Matt Hardy debut and the Mr. Anderson title match, we heard a lot of criticism over the lack of promotion for these two events. Frankly, that criticism was at least somewhat deserved. The lack of promotion for Matt Hardy’s debut I can attribute to wanting a surprise for the PPV. However, the Heavyweight Title changing hands without fans knowing there would even be a match is not a method for success that this doctor would prescribe. »»
